The West Window was given in memory of Betsy Mashiter who died
in 1860.
The central pane (above) shows Henry II presenting a charter to a monk
of the Abbey of Monjoux, granting land in Havering.

The left pane (above) shows the arms of New Zealand, commemorating that
they stayed in Grey Towers. In 1916, four young Maori soldiers were
buried in the church graveyard.

The right pane shows the arms of Trinity House. The spire acted as a
navigational aid for Thames ’pilots and Trinity House helped contributed to its
upkeep.
